This September we were invited to help celebrate the launch of the London Curriculum for Key Stage 2 with a fantastic day festival at Potters Field Park and The Scoop at More London. The London Curriculum is an exciting educational initiative from the Mayors Fund. It brings the National Curriculum to life and is inspired by London's people, places and heritage.

The London Curriculum Festival brought together hundreds children from 30 primary schools from across London to take part in exciting and educational free activities including storytelling, pot making and archaeology, drumming, dance, music and art. The fun-packed day of workshops culminated in a spectacular performance in The Scoop where the children sang as a mass choir and performed the dance routine they had learnt, watched by special guests Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, famed dancer Darcey Bussel and Russian philanthropist Yelena Baturina of the BE OPEN Foundation.

London Curriculum resources are free to all Primary and Secondary schools in the capital.
